Publishing on Wattpad
When one of my friends told me about Wattpad I was not to sure, if I should share some of the stuff I´ve been writing lately, so I started to check out the website to see what other people are sharing and decided to give it a go! So basically what I am publishing on Wattpad are some of the poems I´ve been writing - in German, but I´m thinking about writing some in English as well - and some kind of crime novel that I continue writing every now and then. The website gives you the opportunity to use hashtags that are related to your texts, plus select a genre, which makes it much easier for people to find your publications if they got same interests. You can also select "ongoing", so you are able to add chapters and people know that you´ll continue writing. What was important for me is, that you can choose "all rights reserved" if you really want the story to only belong to you! So as soon as you published your work - or a part of it, you just need to wait and see what people think about it. They can either vote for your chapters which give them a higher ranking at your used hashtags, send you a private message, or comment on your story, which gives you some feedback. You´ll also see how many people have been reading your work. There are many people out there, that are hiding there light under a bushel... so don´t overthink it and just go for it!
